Priscilla Barnes - Her career since Three's Company
67
Priscilla Barnes is best known for replacing actress Suzanne Somers on the 1980s sitcom. On a side note, Three’s Company also starred the late John Ritter. Rest in peace, dad from Problem Child.
However, Barnes has been fortunate enough to have an extensive television and film career following Three’s Company. She’s guest starred in several television shows, such as Blacke’s Magic, She’s The Sheriff, Hotel, Highway to Heaven, Dark Justice, Time Trax, Burke’s Law, Total Security, and more! The list just goes on and on.
On top of all of her guest appearances, she also starred in several made-for-TV movies. Are you ready? Well, she starred in Perfect People, The Letters from Moab, Perry Mason: The Case of the Reckless Romeo, Stepfather 3, Attack of the 5ft. 2 Women, Singapore Sling: Old Flames, The Cowboy and the Movie Star, and a whole hell of a lot more.
Finally, she’s also had the privilege of starring several movies, including a few popular ones. She played opposite Timothy Dalton in the 1989 James Bond film License to Kill. In 1995, she starred in the cult classic Kevin Smith film Mallrats, where she played a psychic with a third nipple. Not the classiest role, but hey, it’s work! Right?
In 2005, she starred in Rob Zombie’s The Devil’s Rejects as Gloria Sullivan.
She has a total of five motion pictures planned for 2007: The Visitation, Thr3e, Ed Gein: The Butcher of Plainfield, An American in China, Taxidermist, and American Cowslip.
While there aren’t many huge hits on these lists, it’s most definitely a prolific career. And with nearly half a dozen projects lined up for 2007, the future is looking pretty good for Priscilla Barnes.
